Reporters Without Borders

Reporters Without Borders launched the Uncensored Library on World Day Against Cyber Censorship on March 12, 2020.

When the library launched, Minecraft players could access articles that have been censored in countries including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Mexico and Egypt. In 2021 the group added more rooms for Brazil, Belarus and Eritrea. 

More than 25 million people in 165 countries have accessed The Uncensored Library.

Reporters Without Borders has created a similar project called "The Uncensored Playlist," available within Spotify.
