The Moshe Safdie-designed museum has one of the best permanent collections in the country and is about to get even better with a recently announced expansion that will double the footprint of the museum in the next 5 years. Current highlight is the site-specific forest light installation by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer which brings together eight immersive installations, each one activated by the exhibition goer.
