Pecking House is a happy little accident that has now delivered all sorts of fried chicken goodness around New York City. Chef Eric Huang left his post as Sous Chef at Eleven Madison Park in January 2020 to open his own restaurant, and he encountered a minor obstacle in the spring. With the world in a bit of chaos, he put his skills towards assisting his family’s restaurants during a trying time. Thus Pecking House was born out of Peking House, an old school Chinese restaurant that has been in Eric’s family for over 40 years. With the operation and popularity of the restaurant growing at a rate no one expected, Pecking House has moved to Brooklyn so as to reach even more of our hot chicken enthusiasts. - Pecking House
