ABOUT
In his work, pop artist Andy Warhol both rejected and embraced convention. The same was true in his life: Warhol was raised Byzantine Catholic and retained aspects of his faith while living as an visibly out gay man. "Revelation" looks at how Warhol incorporated, tweaked and commented on Catholic imagery, symbols, and values in his work. About 100 featured works are the film "Chelsea Girls," Warhol's "Last Supper" series and an unfinished film.
