An Impressive NYC Solo Show Debut

Marian Goodman Gallery
POV
Sabine Moritz’s first solo show in NYC is a staggering exploration of color, lines and composition. This new series of abstract paintings and drawings masterfully showcases her body of work’s exploration of memory as a form of knowledge. A particularly standout is a series of drawings called Shostakovich, 2022 which are largely made up of carmine and black strokes and evoke a musical interpretation of her exploration of the abstract shapes and lines.
