Hani’s Bakery is the buzzy epicurean destination from James Beard winner Miro Uskokovic and his partner/wife Shilpa formerly of Marea and The NoMad. In a coolly modern East Village space, they don’t try to reinvent the wheel, but rather offer unique and delicious takes on such classics as maple custard pie, peanut butter blueberry crunch cake, and surely-soon-to-be-famous salted butterscotch pudding cups. Scrumptious savories are also on offer, like the quite unexpected black truffle baked potato bun.
