Great Jones Distilling has quickly become one of the city’s most venerable craft whiskey distilleries, producing well-reviewed bourbons and rye with unique flavor profiles. The retro cool, steam punk-ish industrial space in which it is housed seems to defy chronology, and also holds the seasonal restaurant The Grid (roasted lamb porterhouse, marinated hanger steak), and the clubby/elegant Tasting Room Bar, boasting impressively creative, whiskey-based cocktails.
