Elevated Caribe Cuisine & Brooklyn Townhouse Vibes
Mango Bay
Mango Bay graces Fort Greene with a menu of updated classic Caribbean dishes. Exec Chef Chase London did time at Danny Meyer’s Manhatta; but here he pays homage to his Caribe heritage, with uniquely creative takes on curried chicken lollipops, jerk burgers and braised oxtail. Share a side of tasty coconut cream corn. Partner Shamah Levy’s cocktails play to theme, especially the Calypso Fashioned, made with plantain fat-washed Hennessy, and the hibiscus-chili Agua de Roselle. The bi-level brownstone features custom floral wall-coverings, original artworks, and even an altar of tribute to Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff.
