Authentic Korean Diner Vibes
Kisa
Kisa is the casual cool new spot from the team behind NoHo small plates sensation C as in Charlie. The concept is simple: to recreate the traditional Kisa Sikdang Korean diners servicing taxi drivers with quick, but memorable meals. So yes, decor is unfussy, with stone floors, tiled walls and charming bits of authentic kitsch adorning the walls. Chef Simon Lee’s ‘Baekban' cuisine starts with base options like bulgogi or spicy squid, and adds on kimchi, potato jorim, roasted seaweed, etc. There’s even a coin-slot coffee dispenser, for those needing to fuel up for further nighttime adventures.
