Channeling Queer Songstresses

Joe's Pub
POV
Justin Vivian Bond will be back on the Joe’s Pub stage just days after the 2024 presidential election, so the four-night run could act as either celebration or elegy. What it will certainly be is as unforgettable as any evening spent with JVB. The title of this show actually comes from the influential 1928 novel that inspired it: The Well of Loneliness by Radclyffe Hall. Expect poignant interpretations of songs by some of the greatest lesbian and queer singer-songwriters of yesterday and today, from Joan Armatrading and Mary Gauthier to Chappel Roan and Billie Eilish.
